Contego Accounting and Bookkeeping Solutions was born out of the motivation to provide timely, informative and reliable bookkeeping services to small businesses. My mission is to make your life easier by not only taking the painful tasks of bookkeeping off your hands!
Most small businesses get their financial statements and tax returns prepared at year end and at that point in time realise that they have an unexpected tax bill. Having seen this time and time again while a Tax Accountant, my goal is to help businesses better understand the financial aspect of the business and help them grow in profitability.

Our bookkeeping services are offered on a fixed package or an hourly rate.
Being a Registered BAS Agent, I am authorised to lodge your activity statements with the ATO. Additionally I have the ability to liaise with the ATO on your behalf to organise payment arrangements and discuss remission of any late lodgement penalties (I’ve had 100% success of remission of late lodgement penalties but don’t tell anyone about that!).
Your accounts will be prepared by qualified professionals who are competent to undertake them, sounds strange I know, actually having your bookkeeping done and not having your tax accountant spend hours recreating your account will be a bonus come tax time. The number of times that I had to completely recreate the bookkeeping for my clients when I was a tax accountant far exceeded the times I didn’t have to. Of course, this resulted in additional costs to the client, once for the cost of the bookkeeping, and the higher cost of the tax accountant redoing the work.
Our whole objective is to provide you quality professional services to ensure that your bookkeeping is completed accurately which will ultimately provide your business information that you need, when you need it at a price that reflects value for money.
